13,250 fans watched an exciting game at the ballpark.  The Lewisville Fire
Ants topped the Chainsaw Proctologists by the slimmest of margins, 3 to
2.

The game was deadlocked at 1 after nine full innings.  Lewisville came out the
victor in the 13th inning.  Shannon Stewart reached on an error.  Julio Lugo
stepped into the batter's box and he smacked a single.  Lugo took second on
the throw.  Lugo proceeded to steal third base.  Tike Redman stepped in and
he worked the squeeze play to perfection making Lewisville the victors to the
delight of the home town faithful.  Lewisville had a total of 8 hits for the
game.  

Antonio Alfonseca(3-1) allowed no runs in 2 innings, and picked up the
victory. Horacio Ramirez(2-2) took the loss in relief.  With this win,
Lewisville has a 29-35 record.  They have been 6-4 lately.  With the loss
Chainsaw now has a record of 23-41, worst in the division.
